Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? AEEC, a Verdantas Company, is seeking a strong .NET Web Developer to support our Federal client in Washington, DC. As the .NET Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using Microsoft technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support web applications and system integrations Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues Optimize application performance, scalability, and security Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Manage application deployments and support production environments when needed Integrate applications with SQL Server databases and third-party systems. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and development processes What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience developing web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET technologies Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization Experience with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and Agile methodologies Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for web applications is preferred U.S. Citizenship is required Salary Range: Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
